Grapevines and pomegranates have the same origins and are typical of the Mediterranean region.
The pomegranate also has the same charm, beauty and intensity of the grape. The name “Granato”, the name of an especially concentrated and dense Teroldego, is dedicated to this ideal blend.
The roots of Teroldego, a mountain grape variety, grow deep in the granitic and limestone rocks of the Campo Rotaliano, a small plain embedded between the steep rock faces of Trentino (North Italy).
It is the intense expression of its land, of its people, of the Dolomites. At the heart of the work carried out in the last twenty years in the vineyard is the recovery of this variety’s biodiversity.
In this way the remarkable mineral, floral and spiced character of the variety can express itself fully, sustained by a natural viticulture that is inspired by the principles of bio-dynamic agriculture.
